Measuring Your Lipo Battery Cell Levels

Your LiPo battery Lipo Level Meter and Alarm Module We recommend using it with this device. This device can monitor each cell in your battery and can alarm when the battery is too low. This is important for the maintenance of your battery. If you allow your battery's voltage to get too low, the battery can be permanently damaged and unusable.

Charging Lipo Battery

What is C Value?

The C value indicates how fast the battery can deliver energy compared to its capacity. For example, a battery with a capacity of 2200mAh and a value of 25C can provide a current of 2200mAh x 25 = 55,000mA or 55A. This means that the battery can provide such a high current for a short time.

Things to Consider When Using Lipo Batteries

  • The terminal cables of Lipo batteries should NEVER touch each other. Short circuits should not be made.
  • For efficient operation of lipo batteries, it is necessary to pay attention to the range of 3.00V - 4.20V per cell.
  • If any cell of the battery you are using falls below 3V, there is a risk of the battery ending its life.
  • Overcharging, i.e. charging more than 4.20V, also has safety risks.
  • A LiPo battery should not be discharged below 3V. Considering that the capacity will decrease as the battery ages, the battery should be discharged by following the 80% rule. In other words, the LiPo battery should be discharged to the value that occurs when 80% of its capacity value is calculated. If this rule is not followed, the batteries may swell and explode.
  • LiPo batteries should not be opened and LiPo batteries should not be allowed to come into contact with water.
  • Lipo batteries should only be charged with lipo battery chargers. Charging with the wrong charger causes the battery to swell and is dangerous.
