2A 5x20mm Delayed Glass Fuse
The glass fuse works by breaking the circuit when the rated current passes through it. When the current passing through the fuse exceeds the nominal current, the thin wire melts and breaks the circuit. It protects the circuit elements against breakdowns caused by excessive current.
The difference between delayed fuses is that they react immediately when the current value they can withstand is exceeded. They do not give it and do not cut off the circuit immediately. This ensures that the circuits are not interrupted, especially when using products that draw high current at first, such as motors.
