ADC0801, ADC0802, ADC0803 The ADC0804 and ADC0805 devices are CMOS 8-bit sequential approximation converters (ADC) that use a differential potentiometric ladder similar to the 256R products. These converters are designed to allow operation with the NSC800 and INS8080A derivative control bus, which feature Tri-state output latches that drive the bus directly. These ADCs appear to the microprocessor as memory locations or I/O ports and do not require interface logic.
Differential analog voltage inputs allow for increased common-mode rejection and analog zero Allows balancing the input voltage value. Additionally, the voltage reference input can be set to allow encoding any smaller analog voltage range to full 8-bit resolution.
