LED Resistance Calculator
The LED resistance calculator helps you calculate how many ohms and watts of resistance you need when powering your LEDs with high voltage values. When powering 5mm bulb LEDs or similar small LEDs with 12V or different high voltage values, a resistor must be used. The ohm value and watt value of the resistor to be used must be calculated correctly. Otherwise, proper operation will not be possible. In fact, this process will result in the failure of the LEDs.
If you don't know the exact current drawn by the LED in the LED calculation table, enter the value as 20 mA. Below are the standard LED voltage values provided. Generally, the outer plastic casings of ultra-bright LEDs are white transparent, and the operating voltage of these LEDs is higher than that of normal colors. For example, while the normal red LED operates at 2V, the ultra-bright red LED operates at 3V.
