NEMA 17 Unipolar/Bipolar, 200 Steps, 42×48mm, 4V Stepper Motor - PL-1200

1.8° step angle of SY42STH47-1206A hybrid motor (200 steps / There is a turnover). Each phase draws 1.2A at 4V, allowing a holding torque of 3.2 kg-cm. The motor has six color-coded wires that allow it to be controlled by both unipolar and bipolar stepper motor drivers. When used with a unipolar stepper motor driver, all six leads are used. When used with a bipolar stepper motor driver, the midrange yellow and white wires can be disconnected (the red-blue pair provides access to one coil and the black-green pair provides access to the other coil). We recommend using bipolar stepper motor driver .

Stepper Motor Applications

Stepper motors are generally precision It is used in a variety of applications where position control is desired and the cost or complexity of a feedback control system is not warranted. A few applications where stepper motors are often found:
  • Printers
  • CNC machines
  • 3D printer / prototyping machines
  • Laser cutters
  • Pick and place machines
  • Linear actuators
  • Hard disks
