OV5647 5MP 1080P IR-Cut Camera with Day Night Mode Switching for Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 is a specially designed for Raspberry Pi It is a plugin. It uses the custom Raspberry Pi's built-in CSI interface, designed specifically for interfacing to cameras. The camera supports night vision. Compatible with all revisions of Pi. Working with the 5 megapixel OV5647 sensor, the best resolution is 1080p.
Helping the night vision function
IR LED can be installed externally (Not shipped with the product). Mounting Holes Provides 3.3V power output Supports connecting infrared LED or strobe light LED. An adjustable resistor is provided to control the ambient light threshold of turning on the infrared LED, when the ambient light is lower than the threshold value, and vice versa, the infrared LED turns on. Integrated screw holes are used for both connection and power supply.
Connects to the Raspberry Pi with a short ribbon cable. The sensor itself has a 5-megapixel resolution and a fixed-focus lens. In terms of still images, the camera is capable of 2592 x 1944 pixel static images and also supports 1080p 30, 720p 60 and 640x480p 60/90 video.
The camera is the Raspbian Pi's choice It is supported in the latest version of Raspbian, the operating system for which it is based.
