Almost all printers are compatible with PLA, making it a preferred choice for hobbyists, individuals, and large companies alike. The printing temperature ranges from 190°C to 220°C, and the bed temperature should be between 50°C and 70°C. The differences in temperature ranges play an important role in distinguishing these properties among the various types.
ABS, on the other hand, has a chemical raw material content that sets it apart from PLA. As long as it does not harm human health, there is no harm in using it. :) Due to its much stiffer and stronger structure than most models, it is generally preferred for parts that will be used in important places and will not be easily damaged. The temperature ranges are higher than PLA accordingly. The printing temperature ranges from 230°C to 260°C, and the bed temperature should be between 80°C and 120°C.
Although we cannot address each type individually, special filament types that are not used frequently should not be overlooked. For example, Flex is very functional and has a lifesaving feature in some projects. While some parts are quite difficult to print with rigid filaments and cannot be held in place where they will be used, parts printed with flex can do this quite successfully.
