What is Internet Of Things (IoT)?
The concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) is introduced in the era of Industry 4.0, where products around us communicate with each other via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technology, creating a smart ecosystem based on the data they gather.
To illustrate with an example, these systems will make more sense in our minds. The most common Internet of Things application known today is the Smart Home Project. Security systems, oven, lights, air conditioning, and household appliances in homes can be operated as an integrated system. Examples of IoT include turning on the air conditioning based on the temperature, automatically turning off the stove if it remains open for a while, and sending a message to the owner's phone. The Smart Home System is an Internet of Things system established between smart machines, sensors, and the user's phone.Examples of IoT Applications
Amazon Echo Alexa
Amazon's smart speaker, Alexa, is an intelligent machine that listens to commands from its surroundings and answers questions asked to it. You can connect the product to your mobile device.
NEST
NEST, acquired by Google, is a company that produces smart thermostats and gas detectors. NEST Thermostat & NEST Protect are the best products in this field. Unlike ordinary detectors, they send real-time notifications to the user's phone based on the data they receive and can directly contact through registered communication channels.
