24C08 / 24C16 is an erasable and programmable read-only memory with 8192/16384 bits organized into 1024/2048 words of 8 bits each ( provides EEPROM). The device is essential for low-power and low-voltage operation. The 24C08 / 24C16 space-saving 8-lead PDIP is available in 8-lead JEDEC SOIC and 8-lead TSSOP packages and can be accessed via a two-wire serial interface.
