CH340G SOP-16 USB to Serial Converter IC is a series of USB bus adapters that provide serial, parallel or IrDA interfaces over the USB bus (note: CH340G only supports serial interface). The CH340G IC provides common MODEM signals that allow adding a UART to a computer or converting existing UART devices to a USB interface.
