MQ-2 gas sensor is a gas sensor that can detect flammable and cigarette smoke in the environment. It gives an analog output according to the gas density in the environment. Smoke detection range is 300 – 10000 ppm.
The sensor is mounted on a card and turned into a module to facilitate use. It is powered by 5V. Both digital and analog outputs can be received from the sensor. Thus, both the presence or absence of gas and the density of the gas can be determined. Sensitivity can be adjusted with the pot located behind the module.
Arduino,
Raspberry Pi or other microcontrollers. When you want to use it with Raspberry Pi, if you want to use the analog pin, you need to use a converter such as Mcp3008.
Card dimensions: 32 x 20 x 22mm
