This sensor card, which operates at a frequency of 38 KHz, is a very easy-to-use module that gives a logic 0 output when it sees an object between 2-40cm, and can be used with 3.3V or 5V systems. Precise frequency setting and distance can be adjusted with the trimpots on the card. The card is activated by pulling the EN pin on the card to ground or by short-circuiting two pins on the card. 5V or 3.3V can be applied to the Vcc pin. GND pin is the ground connection and OUT pin is the digital output pin. There is TSOP4038 as an IR receiver on the card.
