Optical Dust Sensor - GP2Y10 Dust Sensor

 

This sensor is an optical sensor designed to detect airborne dust particles. It has an infrared diode and phototransistor on it, so it detects the reflected light of dust in the air. It is particularly effective in detecting fine particles such as cigarette smoke. They are commonly used in air purification and air conditioning systems. You can use the product in Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects.
