Therefore, they can be used to heat something or cool something, depending on the side you use. You can also take advantage of the temperature difference to generate electricity.

If you don't remove the heat from the hot side (with a heatsink or other device), the Peltier will quickly reach stasis and do nothing. We recommend using an old computer CPU heat sink or other metal block to draw heat from the hot side.
