TOF400C VL53L1X 4m Distance Sensor Module
Module with ToF distance sensor based on the VL53L1X system. It interacts with the SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) matrix and FlightSense™ technology, which allows you to measure absolute distance regardless of the color and surface of the detected object. Thanks to the implementation of an IR transmitter that emits light with a wavelength of 940 nm and a set of filters, it offers a range of up to 400 cm with good resistance to interference from ambient light. The sensor has a dead zone ranging from 0 to 4 cm and a detection angle of 27°. The module also offers the ability to detect 1D movements. The VL53L1 communicates via the I2C interface and the user has a friendly and easy-to-use API (Application Programming Interface) available in C language. It can be used in applications to detect the presence of objects and obstacles in both industrial robots and mobile structures.
