TP4056, for single cell lithium ion batteries It is a complete constant current/constant voltage linear charger. The SOP package and low external component count make the TP4056 ideal for portable applications. Additionally, TP4056 can work in USB and wall adapter.
Thanks to its internal PMOSFET architecture, it does not need a blocking diode and prevents the Charging Current Circuit from being negative. Thermal feedback regulates charging current to limit die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature. The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2V and the charging current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The TP4056 automatically ends the charging cycle when the charging current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value after the final surge voltage is reached.
