TSL25911FN Digital Ambient Light Sensor
TSL2591 series is a very high precision light-to-digital converter that converts light intensity directly into a digital signal output with an I2C interface. The device combines a broadband photodiode and an infrared-responsive photodiode in a single CMOS integrated circuit. Two integrated ADCs convert the photodiode currents into a digital output representing the irradiance measured in each channel. This digital output can be input to a microprocessor where illumination in lux is derived using an empirical formula to approximate the response of the human eye. Supports a traditional level style cutout that remains assertive until the firmware cleans it up.
