FL-2 0.5 100A 75mV Shunt Resistor
The shunt resistor is the part that reduces the high-power current in the circuit whose current you want to read to a low value that your meter can read. The ammeter is actually a voltmeter that reads millivolts. It cannot be used without a shunt resistor. If you connect it to the circuit, it will light up immediately. Therefore, it is used together with a shunt resistor.
