HMC5883L 3 Axis Compass Sensor - GY-273

 

GY-273 module is a low-cost sensor with a digital interface for applications such as compass and magnetometry. The HMC5883L includes amplification of threat status, high-resolution HMC118X series magnetoresistive sensors, and an ASIC; a 12-bit ADC that provides automatic degaussing belt drives, offset cancellation, and 1 to 2 compass heading accuracy. The I2C serial bus provides an easy interface.

It can be used in various robot projects, especially Arduino projects and Raspberry Pi projects. There is I2C communication protocol at its output. It has a voltage regulator on it. In this way, it can be supplied with voltage between 3-5v.
