MAX5035BASA+ SOIC- 8 5V 1A Voltage Regulator IC
The MAX5035BASA+ is a 1A, 76V, high efficiency MAXPower step-down DC-DC converter in an 8-pin NSOIC package. This DC-DC converter operates in the input voltage range of 7.5V to 76V. The unique voltage mode control scheme with forward voltage and internal switching DMOSFET provides high efficiency over a wide input voltage range. This pulse width modulated converter operates at a fixed switching frequency of 125KHz. The device also features an automatic pulse skipping mode to ensure low quiescent current and high efficiency at light loads. It consumes only 270µA in no-load condition and only 10µA in shutdown mode. The IC also features undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, hiccup mode output short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The device uses an internal low-resistance, high-voltage DMOS transistor to achieve high efficiency and reduce overall system cost.
