TC4421 SOIC-8 Mosfet Driver IC

TC4421 is a single output, high speed MOSFET Driver capable of driving large MOSFETs and insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs). The TC4421A has matched leading and falling edge propagation delay times, as well as output rise and fall times. The TC4421A device also has very low crossover current, which reduces the overall power consumption of the device. This device is essentially immune to any form of degradation other than direct overvoltage or overdissipation. It cannot be locked under any circumstances within the power and voltage values. This part will not be damaged or malfunction when up to 5V ground spatter is present at the ground terminals. It can accept more than 1A inductive current of any polarity being forced back into its outputs without damage or logic disturbance. Additionally, 300mV hysteresis is built into the input, providing noise immunity and allowing the device to be driven from slowly rising or falling waveforms.
