ESP8266 Economical Wifi
ESP-01 is very small and fits any case, so it's perfect for finished projects. This is the cheapest ESP8266 module. The upgraded version has 1MB flash memory. It offers four GPIOs for controlling and connecting peripherals (two are TX and RX for serial communication). So if you need more peripherals in your projects, maybe you should use one of the previous boards.
There is no built-in voltage regulator on the board, so you need to use a 3V3 power supply or reduce the input voltage to 3V3 You need to add a voltage regulator for Also, it doesn't come with USB to serial converter, which means you have to install custom firmware
You can use the USB/Serial converter.
ESP-01 is perfect for applications that require a small number of peripherals.
