MCP1702-5002E SOT23-3 LDO Regulator IC
MCP1702T-5002E/CB is a CMOS low dropout positive Voltage Regulator with 250mA maximum output current. It operates with an input voltage of up to 7V and with its low current consumption of 2µA, it is an ideal solution for applications using multi-cell, 9V alkaline or single or two-cell lithium-ion batteries. The MCP1702's output voltage tolerance is typically ±0.4% at +25°C and a maximum of ±3% over the operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Line regulation is typically ±0.1% at +25°C. Available output voltages for the regulator are 5V. The LDO output is stable when only 1µF output capacitance is used. Ceramic, tantalum or aluminum electrolytic capacitors can be used for input and output. Overcurrent limit and overtemperature shutdown provide a robust solution for any application.
