PICKIT 2 PICKIT 3 Zif Socket Adapter
Pic programmers generally only have an ICSP output socket. For the programming process, real circuits must be made on breadboard or various PCBs. It is not always easy to set up this circuit and many errors can occur when making cable connections. In order to perform this operation easily, this circuit was developed using a zif socket. It has a structure that can be set with jumpers according to different pin numbers.
It is very easy to use. A 5 pin ICSP connection is established between the programmer and the zif circuit with a cable. There are 3 jumper settings on the Zif socket circuit. Under the socket, it is written in which position the 3 jumpers should be located according to the pic pin numbers such as 40 pins, 28 pins, 18 pins. For example, for 40 pins, number 1 is attached to the latch side. It should be in the case of J1=A, J2=2-3, J3=2-3.
How to attach the number 1 of the pics is shown in the figures. Number 1 of all pics except PIC10FX corresponds to the peg side.
