74HC193 DIP16 Integrated

HC193 devices are 4-bit synchronous, reversible, up/down binary counters. Synchronous operation is achieved by clocking all the flip-flops simultaneously so that the outputs coincide with each other when instructed by the steering logic. This mode of operation eliminates the output count spikes normally associated with asynchronous (ripple clock) counters.

The four flip-flop outputs act low (UP or DOWN) of the count (clock) input. -Triggered at high level transition. The count direction determines which count input is pulsed when the other count input is high.
