Kontakt Pcc - Solder Flux Cleaning Spray
Cleaner and flux remover for printed circuit boards. Special blend of CFC and HCFC-free organic solvents. It comes with an additional brush type spray head.

Contact PCC results in clean printed circuit boards and therefore high surface resistance, low leakage current and good adhesion of protective coatings.
APPLICATIONS
KONTAKT PCC is used for cleaning printed circuit boards and other electronic components. It is also used to prepare the surface before applying protective coatings or protective
stickers before and after soldering and repair work.
INSTRUCTIONS
Aerosol can to aid cleaning by mechanical means. Equipped with a brush type spray head. The aerosol can be used in an upside-down position (360° valve) for hard-to-reach areas. Since carbon dioxide was used as the propellant, it was possible to fill the aerosol can with ±95% active product.
For minor cleaning operations, rinsing the printed circuit board with KONTAKT PCC is probably sufficient. Brushing, of course, promotes cleanliness. To remove flux residue, first wet the brush and then apply light pressure on the printed circuit board, spraying the product while brushing. While doing this, hold the board as vertical as possible and work from top to bottom. For optimum results, it is best to rinse the surface again with KONTAKT PCC.
If a "whitish residue" forms on the printed circuit board after cleaning, this is probably due to a coating partially dissolved by KONTAKT PCC. In this case, the protective coating is coated with PLASTIK 70, giving the circuit board a perfect appearance.
CONTACT PCC with PCB materials, solder stop varnish and electronic components. It has been tested for compatibility. Color coding in particular has been found not to be damaged by KONTAKT PCC. There are only a few very sensitive plastics that are attacked by KONTAKT PCC. These include, for example, polystyrene and polycarbonate.
KONTAKT Since PCC contains flammable solvents, all sources of ignition must be removed. Do not spray on residential equipment. A safety data sheet (MSDS) according to EU directive 91/155/EEC and amendments is available for all CRC products.
