Arduino LCD Keypad Shield

 

A very popular LCD Key shield for Arduino and other variants. It includes a 2x16 LCD screen and 6 momentary push buttons. Pins 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are used to interface with the LCD. Only one Analog Pin 0 is used to read the five buttons. The LCD screen supports contrast adjustment and backlight on/off functions. It also displays five color-coded analog pins for easy analog sensor installation and display. The onboard LED indicates that the power is on.

This design allows you to easily connect sensors to the rest of the pins. Buttons are used for monitoring or menu selection and even for playing games. Often project applications require testing or debugging. Immediate viewing of information allows assistance to be obtained in many situations where a computer cannot reach. If you're planning to build something that doesn't depend on a computer and you need to control what's going on when placing it in position, this addition will be invaluable to make sure the program runs well.

This design includes an APC / Bluetooth v3 socket to enable data transmission with your robot.
